Supporting Traditional Artists Residency STAR is a new artist in residency and cultural exchange program in Udaipur, India (Rajasthan). Co-Founded by Dr. Samvit Audichya and Chellcy Reitsma. STAR will offer a unique, inspiring, and supportive environment for visual and performing artists to make their work and share it with others. Artists in residence will also have the opportunity to learn a traditional Indian art form from regional artists! Unique: in that it is one of few artist residency programs in the world that focuses solely on cultural art traditions. Both performing and visual arts. Inspiring: because of the serene location in the "City of Lakes"; Udaipur, India. In addition to learning new arts from regional and visiting artists and sharing cultures. Supportive: by offering our artists work space, feedback, presentation space, exchanges with regional artists and visitors, and full room and board. The best part is staying in a beautiful family home with your own private bedroom / ensuite and eating home cooked meals! Live in a clean, healthy, family environment!
